ELEVATED TEMPERATURE TENSILE TESTING

The MES mechanical test experts provide elevated temperature tensile testing up to 2100°F with full instrumentation. Using a high temperature extensometer and Inconel adapters, tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, and reduction of area are reported. Testing is conducted in our A2LA accredited mechanical test lab to the ASTM E21 specification.

Elevated-temperature tensile testing can provide key information on tensile strength versus temperature. By measuring true strain, addition insight into material ductility is collected while under axial stress. A stress/strain curve establishes the material yield point. Utilizing numerous test frames and exposure chambers, MES is able to quickly test bulk samples for research programs.

MES provides rapid inspection results at an affordable price. As an A2LA ISO 17025 accredited service provider, quality is our focus.
